The cards from Bo's Studio are really nice. We are certain that since the caveman roamed the earth, greetings were sent or carried from one person to another in the form of a sign, leaf, feather, or a stone. Greeting cards themselves have a two thousand year history. Therefore, we seek to continue this tradition by offering cards of genuine artistic merit. Aside from our sophisticated and elegant designs, most important is that we create each card from the heart. So, when you send a card from Bo's Studio with your own greeting or letter you are sending a true personal communication of thought and emotion to your fortunate recipient.
Of course, our cards are printed on 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper, non de-inked, chlorine free, using soy based inks. Bo's Studio cards were created through a partnership of two Pratt Institute School of Art and Design graduates.
Bo was their first cat.
 Greeting and letters have become contemporary rituals which we believe, should be respected especially in the age of emails and text messages. Sending a card is both an ephemeral act and one that can carry lasting meaning. Therefore, when we sell recycled greeting cards from Bo's Studio we are committed to their vision of creating artwork of quality and beauty to be used in everyday life. These greetings were produced in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. Each card is a small work of art bringing new ideas and expression to customers tired of the same old type of sentiment and aesthetics. The greeting cards started out as an original gouache painting designed on both the front and back, adding to their uniqueness. The painting is then printed using soy based inks, on unbleached, non de-inked 100% post consumer waste recycled paper. The current standard for recycled content is not nearly adequate to deal with the tons of waste generated daily in the United States. Soy inks are an important solution to the very toxic standard printing inks, and chemicals used to clean up.

Each greeting cards comes with an envelope that is also made from 100% post consumer recycled paper, processed without chlorine, FSC Certified.
